Just choose something, try it out for as long as you like, and when you get bored change again. I've been every one of the catagories you've mentioned in your additional information in the last month. I'm goth at the moment, and tonight I'll be a geek. tomorrow I'm scheduled to be an acedemic, followed closely by an pilgrim. no limits, no fear. Do it your way. explore the many facets that make you unique, try different things and be proud to say your human, searching for truth and making mistakes just like the rest of us. It's fun!, expensive, but fun. Smile at adversity, grin at your challenges and take every day with gusto and joy.

When we are young, most of us try to fit in some place and its as if we are trying on hats. We try to be this or that and fit in with a group that we feel defines us. There is good news here, though.
One day we all wake up and decide that we don't have to make ourselves fit into any one particular group. We decide we like who we are, without having to dress one particular way, without having to choose one particular group of friends--and we like ourselves for being "different."
As for God, I think God put us on this earth so we can have fellowship with Him, and if we didn't feel so alone at times, we would never search for Him. The saddest day of our life can also be the BEST day, if we admit we NEED Him and seek!
I hope this doesn't sound "preachy." Its the middle of the night and your message sounds like you needed someone to be sincere, not silly. You don't have to give me 10 points, but I wish I could give YOU a hug, though! Your note really touched me.
Hang in there! Almost all of us will admit we have times of self-doubt and confusion! I hope you will learn to make friends with lots of different types of people and not try to make yourself into a carbon copy of the people you meet. Be yourself...relax...don't worry if you make tons of friends....one or two really good ones are all you need! Please remember, you are never really alone.
If you still feel same way in a few days, do something DRASTIC. Find a way to volunteer in your community. This will get you "out of yourself" and give you a way to feel some happiness beyond your thoughts and feelings. This same advice was given to me when I was 21 and it changed me forever! Instead of being lonely and confused, I was NEEDED and appreciated, which in turn made me appreciate who I really was!
Decide here and now you are going to be happy and life will unfold in a beautiful way...and it will! God did NOT leave you here alone. Look today for someone God might have sent to cheer you up or someone you could be a friend to. You have much to offer, so please BE YOURSELF.

Hun, don't choose which clique you want to be in, just be yourself. Don't try to fit in. Just let things go the way they go. You'll probably regret the choice of the stereotype you make later on. Don't label yourself or make yourself into it.
People label me 'emo.' And well, I'm NOTHING near it, even if I do look like it. I don't slit my wrists, I don't write poems about heartbreaks or suicide.

you know i think that's a question most everyone ask.but the answer is so simple just be your self and be happy with that, you are only you. no one else can be you. in time you'll learn what you want to be in life, generally stick to something that you truely love doing and make it your life's work. then there is nothing that can make you happier. you are all ready somebody. be the best you can be.

i think you havnt realized what you like yet. perhaps maybe you havnt found the one thing that you love. as for why god put us on the earth, i thinks its so that you can live, theres no divine, or grand purpose, its just you and life, an d your choice to do with it as you please with it. Dont worry hun, in time, you'll find yourself, in the meantime, try going out and tasting som ething new ^_~.

I actually had this same problem. I just sat down and just thought about my fav things to do, to go, best movies, My best friends, music and what inspires me. You just have to figure it out on your own. You can't be yourself if someone has to tell you.

Make your own blend. Be who you are. I spent alot of my twenties trying to get past what I was in my teens. Now I don't care. I am what I am. Be who you are - your true self and I am sure it will be unique and beautiful.
