yes as others said fairly soon because the southern wing of the san andreas running through east LA/san bernardino hasnt had a rupture since the 1600s so its long overdue... but theres also impending danger of a midwest earthquake too on the new madrid fault line near Memphis (supposed to be a doozy, having aftershocks for months!)

I just read in the paper today that the San Andreas fault hasn't had a major quake in quite a while, and seismologists are saying that stresses are building up at this point where there could be a major quake soon.

According to my news website...the scientists say a 8.0 will hit San Andreas anytime...it could be today or 10 yrs from now...they are doing more studies on this.. All they know it's long overdue for a good one.

No I don't. It is the risk you take by living in California. If you were to live in another part of the U.S., you would end up worrying about some other disaster or weather related disaster in the area you lived in as well.
