I love my children, it's something in built in a mother I think. You have such interest from day one and want to make the relationship work that when your kids hurt so do u and you feel their joy, its probably the greatest, longest lasting love there is. I love my best friend's kids and moreso I think because she died and they are what I have of her, her husband I love as a friend but more now that I see how he has triumphed through all of this. I love my parents for obvious reasons. So to sum it up yes I love my own, love friends for the special things I have grown to see in them. Love is great :)

The people I love most in this world are my two children. I love my daughter because she is wise and so kind to others. She has a self-assurance that most adults fail to achieve, and she shines with optimism. I admire her very much. I love my son because he is strong yet sensitive. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm, and a quirky outlook on life. The questions he asks and the little things he says about the world never fail to amaze and amuse me. I love to look at him because he is blonde and brown and beautiful. I am lucky to have these two people in my life, and I learn a lot from them. I love them sooooo much!

Sadly, I'm an easy mark for confidence tricksters. There's a line in the move the "House of Games"...I don't know it exactly, but it's something to the effect that con games are called that not because the mark has confidence in the grifter, but that the grifter gives his (fraudulent) confidence to the mark. It's well known in communication circles that self disclosure evokes disclosure in others. When people open up to me, trust me with their vunerable emotional content, I find myself responding in kind and very quickly coming to love that person.

"Love is a serious mental disease." -Plato
"Love is a state in which a man sees things most decidedly as they are not." -Nietzsche
I can define kindness better than love. Love is too general and has no meaning any more. I love Big Mac. Where's love in that? Okay, I love my father. Is it for his financial support that I love him? Maybe so, then it's not love, it's a mental disease.
What about if I love my kid, and my kid loves me for my support? But my kid gets more emotional support from her friend than from me. I can't reject that love is a mental disease because we love to prove that we can love (could be even bad at times), and there's no proof in true definition of love.
Love just is, if it exists. Otherwise it's a mental disease.

First I love myself because I think I am a strong person.
I love my parents because they are always beside and because they gave me the greatest gift:life. I love my husband because he is the most incredible person I´ve ever met and because he makes me a better person. And I love other people:friends. The ones who made me laugh when I needed to, those who stood by me, those who listened, those I listened.
These people are to me angels. They lend me their wings when I forget how to fly...

No, I only love my parents because of what they have given me over the years. Same for all my friends and family. I almost never initiate love, but am glad to reciprocate.

Not sure what you mean. I love people for reasons. My parents included. I don't have anyone I love "just because".
