As long as you are both happy then i think it is fine. I am 34 and my man is 54 and we have kids together. We have never been happier and we are really in love with each other.

I was in this situation when i was 17 (many moons ago now). I thought it would last forever but for various reasons it didn't. Now that I'm older and think back on that time I'm almost embarrassed. An age gap is usually fine but when the people are older. What is a 29 year old guy doing with a 17 year old girl? I now wonder why the guy I was with back then didn't have a girlfriend closer to his own age.

From personal experience, I just wouldn't recommend it.

That's just my opinion.

Bad idea. It's creepy for a man to be dating a teenager, no matter how mature that teenager is. Most people in their 30's say that they are 29, so he's probebly older than 29, too. He's old enough to be her father, and he will not take a relationship with her seriously at all. She can't even get into a bar, where he can do whatever he pleases and she'll never know about it.

Fine

as long as the older one ain't manipulating things...

Often its a case of the older one being immature for his age as was shy, was not so good at pulling and ended up in the vicious cirlce of needy for no girl wants him, no sex or love life so needy.

in otherwords he will appreciate the girl liking him.

He probably still likes clubbing and music and all the things the 17 year old does not borning housey stuff, babies and dinner parties.

She probably wants to be with someoen who is not a jerk like guys her age and looking for someone who knows what they are doing...

So in most cases no probalem or anything pervey. Just the two are suited to each other. And wont be a problem if they mature at a similar pace.

if not they split up like any other couple the same age.

So be happy and **** everyone else.

Plus the older one many be better able to deal with things like her mate getting drunk, spot danger etc.

well to start with either the 29 year old is imature or the 17 year old is to old in the head at those ages they want different things to start she aint old enough to get into a pub or club and he wont like it when she is and she is wanting to go out all the time and he aint as he has already done the pubbing and clubing thing then when they get into a crowd of her friends he will not have anything to say as at that age they are either still at school or not long left and talk teenage stuff that he wont want to listen to and he will feel uncomfortable, when they go out into a group of his friends it will be like tagging along the annoying kid sister this age is not a perfect match as she needs to get out and explore the big bad world before she thinks of boyfriends

I can see no problem about the girl being young as it should always be the man/boy who will carry the relationship. If the man is mature enough the chances of having a long lasting relationship is high.

That is a big age difference, but who knows? Now days it may work as long as he isn't married! Are "they" happy? Do they want to be together? If you answered yes, then who the heck cares what everyone else thinks?!?!
