I believe that they have a 95% effectiveness rate, and they are also very effective in helping women avoid the HPV virus that causes cervical cancer. It is suggest that one use a spermicide along with a condom just to be sure.

Condom should work.. But there are two ssumptions for iit, two points where it will fail.

like ANY contraceptives.....they have their risk of not working. why not double your chances of protection, using condoms and a spermicide, or condoms and the pill...etc.
the more protected you are from AIDS, other STDs and pregnancy, the less likely you are to be at risk.

YES CONDOMS ARE VERY RELIABLE ABD EFFICIENT.IT IS BETTER TO USE CONDOMS THAN HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX USING CONTRASEPTIVES.CONDOMS PROTECT YOU FROM HIV,SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES
