Hmmmmm.......not at the stadium? That's different. I had my baseball cap on and my foam finger in hand and my baseball glove in the other. I was soooooo ready for a day at Fenway! But at home we could still have fun. Be sure to write out for her all of the players......who is who. And talk her though the game. Share your enthusiasm with her. Your delight will be contagious. If she sees how excited you are by the game, she is sure to catch on will equal enthusiasm. I have no doubt that you both could enjoy this date more than anything you've ever done. (*cough* as long as you are for the Red Sox that is *wink*) Good luck!

I think it's reasonable to ask her to try it once. It would seem there should be some importance in simply being together. Relationships are full of compromises. Sometimes you do what she likes, sometimes what you like, and hopefully most of the time what you both like. I think the ability to give and take is a true test of a relationship. Many women do like baseball and other sports. What turns many off to them isn't the sport but the amount of time some men spend on them. When you can't do anything else as a couple or family because a game is on TV, then it's time to reevaluate priorities.
It's one thing to get her into the spirit of the game and another to expect her to live and breath it. Buy her the hat, the pendant, the monkey, ...what ever goes with your team and brings out the cheerleader in her. When the game is over, tell her how much you enjoyed sharing it with her. It was the best game ever, because she was there. Then, if you're not full of beer and hot dogs, take her somewhere to eat and don't talk about baseball unless she brings it up. Hopefully, she simply enjoyed spending the day with you.

The last thing anyone who hates sports is to watch a game on TV. She'll be really bored and not pay any attention to it.

sorry, if she dont like sports then she is the wrong girl for you.
when dating you should both like something that both like and then also have things that only one likes.
but if she dont like sports at all and you want to do something you like. time to find another girl.----one that likes sports then.
