I think it's fairly obvious that abortion isn't murder or else Doctors would be tried as serial killers and put to death themselves. Which is, of course, not very pro-life...heheh...

Because its not illegal, however abortion is about MONEY. A majority of the time women who have unwanted children need the government to raise the child. Big bucks! A woman who kills her child is sick and so is the dr making MONEY to kill children.

As long as abortion is a legal procedure, doctors will not be put in jail. Before it was passed into law people who performed abortions were arrested. Euthanasia is legal in places, but not everywhere. Does that mean it isn't murder? It is a choice to end a life, just like abortion. The legal definition is distinct and separate from the moral definition.

Actually, I am against abortions. But not many people have the same views as I do. The way I see it, "You make your bed, you lie in it." In another words, you have unprotected sex, get knocked up, you should be fit to raise the child. I see an abortions as taking a persons rights against them. There are many major risks that go along with abortions; breast cancer, never being able to conceive ever again, ect. I just think it is down right cruel to take a baby's life away from them. This is my opinion, and I have expressed it!

They aren't put in jail because in America abortion is not considered murder in the eyes of the law. The controversy is that some people do see it as murder and want the laws changed.

You can spot these people easily. They are the people who know what is best for you. In other words, they are the jerks of the world.

They're not put in jail because abortion is legal. If you just want to post your opinions on the Internet, you should get a blog. It's corny when people post questions just to show off their opinions when they don't intend to get a real answer. At least ask a question that isn't so obvious.

The Law of the land is what makes this practice legal, and the rantings of a vocal minority isn't what sets the law of the land. It doesn't mean I like it or even agree with it, but the people are the ones who made this act legal, and since we live in a democracy where majority rules, then that's the way it is until the law is changed.

I think you have to separate the practicing doctors and the non-practicing doctors such as "hilot". Or some medical who allow themselves to do an abortion. In cases for the practicing doctors who perform abortions, well there are many cases of abortions and before they do it to the patient they observe bio medical ethics, so they are not then to be jailed but those who perform abortion out of the medical jurisdiction, well they are to be jailed.

I don't believe in abortion, and yes, I think that doctors that kill infants are mass murderers. They just look at it as a day's work, they go home to their wife and children, and eat dinner, take a shower, to wash off the dead baby's blood, then f--k their wife, hoping she took her birth control pill.

Well, they're allowed to kill unborn kids... but i have mixed feelings about abortion... If my G/F got knocked up, i'd probably want her to have an abortion because of our future, but then again we'd be ending a kids life that could have a bright future.
