he won the competition ages ago, but different people have won it since so the winner of the 2005 competition is officially world strongest man?? think they should sue WWE.

The same way i can call myself the hottest girl in the world,....it might not be comepletely true but its pretty close,but i hate mark henry anyway for what he did to all the wrestlers.....

Well bacause he won the competition he has the right to call himslef the world's Strongest Man and all although other people have won the comp, he is aloud to as long as he doesnt say that he is the wrolds strongest man of 2005 or anything like that

Officially - some moons ago - he was America's representative in the World Strongest Man Competition....

its just his gimmick. he was in the 1996 olympics, representing the US for weighltifting. This is not the first time the WWE has used this gimmick. They did it with Dino Bravo nearly 20 years ago and with Ken Patera before that.

he never defended and lost his title so technically under wrestling/boxing title logic he is the worlds strongest man, even though he is not officially recognised as such.
