If you haven't yet started watching it, you may be coming in at the beginning of the end. If they don't *seriously* turn things around this year, the show isn't going to last that much longer.
The first season, excellent. An intriguing central mystery with Mary Alice's suicide, and great supporting stories.
The second season, a mess. Aimless, unfocused stories that just went nowhere, characters doing things out of character and for no reason. The entire Applewhite story was a dead-end; what a waste of a superb actress.
See if you can rent the first season on DVD; that's definitely worth watching.

yes, but if u're still a baby then dont watch it. there are lots of better shows than desperate housewives.
