The Honey Mushroom (Armillaria ostoyae)

Discovered in the Malheur National Forest in eastern Oregon, the fungus is 3.5 miles across and takes up 1,665 football fields. The small mushrooms visible above ground are only the tip of the iceberg.

Experts estimate that the giant mushroom is at least 2,400 years old, but could be 7,200 years old.

I don't think coral counts as it is lots of small organisms.

Coral Reefs, they are the only animal that can be seen from space. A coral reef is one huge colony of microorganisms living cooperatively together on the bones of their ancestors.

According to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coral_Reef
"A coral reef is a type of biotic reef that develops in tropical waters by the growth of coralline algae, hermatypic corals, and other marine organisms. Coral reefs are typically massive biogenic formations of calcium carbonate (limestone) that is deposited within or around the bodies of the inhabitants of the reef as skeletal material. This material gradually accumulates as debris and/or is knitted together by the continued growth of the attached forms living on the reef."
