Hate....no....pity mebbe? mebbe yes!

Your successive governments policies have resulted in more and more dangers for Americans traveling abroad.

And we do have good laughs (and even a comic strip satire on Georgie in our most popular newspaper -The Times of India called Dubyaman) whenever ole Georgie Porgie or his stooge with opened legs eunuch in disguise -blair put their feet in their own mouths.

Well, not really! Nice bait to get the answers you wanted, so straight to the point.
Then the democratic underground has an agent address your query using their usual hate and vitriol, but their mis-use of terms has offended my delicate sensibilities.
Tegid Foel from Kilkenny here, the term Tory (from Irish Gaelic tóraighe, an Irish outlaw or guerrilla fighter. The term Tory was used in the American Revolution to describe those who remained loyal to the British Crown and government. Someone likes to twist meanings and definitions to suit their needs? Right phil-whatever? Plutocratic, oligarchy
while are similar, rich in power –whatever! Totalitarian, socialist, call it what you like, is a different animal that holds the purse strings of Americas Democratic Party.

I am very sorry you feel this way. Though I do dislike the situations Bush has put the U.S in, I could never say I hate the U.S! If I did that would mean that I would have to hate all Americans! And I think some of us are pretty awesome people!!!!!!! I am proud to be an American!!!!!!! Please don't judge all of us by what a few corupt people do. America still has alot of great people in it. I will pray that you can see that!

"IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF THE USA...AND YOU HATE IT...THEN MOVE..WHY WOULD YOU LIVE IN A COUNTRY YOU HATE...UNLESS YOU KNOW THAT THE USA IS THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITY......AND THE GREATEST NATION ON THE PLANET!"

I'm not a US citizen, but I think hate is a strong term to use (although if you did hate your country that much, it would be questionable why you stayed in that country). US citizens are within their right (like any citizens in the world) to dislike the policies of their Governement. As a democracy, the US should realise that people have the democratic right to say so and US citizens should respect that, even if you disagree.
It is not (contrary to popular belief) unpatriotic to oppose your countries beliefs/policies. As a UK citizen, I love my country. It has it's moments now & again, but I love this medium-sized island I call home. But it doesn't mean I have to go along & agree with everything it says. My freedom to disagree is democracy and that just makes the country even better.

I do not hate the United States. I have a deep respect for my country, the Constitution and the flag. A lot of decent people have put their lives on the line (and some have lost them) for this beautiful, wonderful, impossible country of mine. I love America, and do what I can to serve her, even if most of the time it's only voting and paying taxes. And praying.

However, I do strenuously object to the transformation of the United States into a totalitarian, plutocratic oligarchy. What that means is that rich people want to have exclusive rule and want to create a police state to keep everyone else down. And this is what the Republican Party, now and traditionally the party of the rich, is doing.

Bush has used the excuse of terrorism to defy the law and to take actions violating the very rules of decency and fair play that generations of Americans went to war to establish and defend. In short, he is making us more like the terrorists.

He is an evil man and must be impeached and removed from office for his violations of the Constitution, then tried as a war criminal for starting the Iraq war under false pretenses, and hanged if convicted. What is more, we must confront his supporters at all times and let them know that we consider them to be anti-American. Why? Because we did not need King George or his Tories in 1776, and we do not need King George W. Bush or his Tories in 2006. Not coincidentally, the original word in the English language for a political conservative is "Tory." Also not coincidentally, "Tory" derives from a Gaelic word meaning "robber."

Don't be fooled by ostentatious flag-waving. Conservatives, from Tories to terrorists, have always been America's enemies. Always.

[Tegid Foel, totalitarianism is not restricted to socialists. Nazi Germany, an extremely conservative state, was totalitarian. And no one ever confused Stalin with a liberal, especially after he had Trotsky murdered. Totalitarian states, like any other autocratic regime, are inherently conservative, regardless of their professed politcs. I do not endorse ultraliberals, either. Plutocracy is rule by the rich. Oligarchy is rule by a small elite, usually but not always an aristocracy. As for the lies and distortions spoken by conservatives, that is another topic. "Tory" is also the word used by official conservative parties everywhere in the English-speaking world except the United States, and in England the Conservative Party was named the Tory Party until the mid-19th century. The etymology of "Tory" comes from the dictionary, and the word was indeed first used in Ireland as you described, hence its connotation of "loyalist," which conservatives appropriated; American Tories called themselves loyalists (to the Crown). Because I love America I hate conservatives. Why shouldn't I hate my country's enemies?]

Well I don't hate anyone. Nevertheless the sheepish americans voted for a goverment who does demonstrate a lot of evil.

America is on the brink of a financial meltdown, it could be the case that pretty soon many americans will suffer economically as the result of this with interest rates rising in order to save a failing dollar.

I guess its KARMA.
