Yahoo messenger but I read the licensing agreement (or as much of it as I could without falling alseep.) It looks like it says I am going to be bombarded with advertising by instant message. I have enough history with pop ups to not want IMs popping at me all the time? Is that what it's like? Is it worth the hassle?

Its a more complicated version of aim. If you have webcam and a microphone it defiently worth it and it has free chat room.
But the best way is for you just to downlaod it and try it out. The time you wasting waiting for someone liek me to answer you, you couldve tryed it out. Take a chance in life ; )

Messenger with voice is good - it notifies you when you receive email and has many radio stations available - I love the radio stations. I haven't had any pop ups with it and the only problem i can see is that you have to pay a small amount - a couple of bucks a month to have the telephone out service made available - but you don't have to sign up for it - this is only a problem because your telephone calls must be made to someone who has it installed on their PC.
Go ahead and install it - its free and the benefits are good.

I use the Y! msgr with voice, and its great. I dont get a single advertisement popup. Go ahead and install it. The only IMs you will get are from people on your list...or if someone is trying to contact you....

one hundred% Yahoo Messenger! it rather is SOOOOOOO lots greater useful than objective! i comprehend that anybody is going to objective yet i in my view do no longer understand why! ive never had an advertisement sent by im - there are ads in the room windows but they are generally unobtrusive and you dont notice them - install it, it is good fun and you will make lots of friends
