yes i was also surprised that none of the other officials realized this, also to add to the mistery was the full time whistle as the 3rd goal was shot...... wtf?? cant end a game as a possible goal scoring chance was happening.....

Maybe the referee just got confused between 2 and 3.

that referee must have forgotten that he has shown 1 yellow card earlier in the match. what is more interesting that no other official on the touchline had seen it? even the FIFA president, Sepp Blatter is fuming mad about this.
i hope Graham Poll will not refereeing any matches in the upcoming English Premier League which starts on 19 August 2006.

with five so say called referee's or clowns? and standard of some refereeing iam not surprised G Poll is rated has our best i would not let him referee my subbuto team GIVE HIM THE RED CARD and the few more referee's who are not up to the level required but with old men @ fifa running the world of football what do you expext

i think it's great because there are so many way a yellow like holding jersey a tackle from the back etc... the players are going to played more and there won't be more player on a team.
