You can buy a closet auger at your local hardware store. I prefer the ridgid brand k-6. it extends to 6 feet so you will get completely through the trap and into the closet bend. The trap is usually 2 inches in diameter so the eggs are surely lodged at the bottom right before the closet bend. If this does not work you Will need to pull the toilet, take it outside and turn it upside down and auger the toilet from the bottom until the eggs are pushed into the bowl. Sometimes you have to turn the toilet to different angles to help the egg go through the trap. Plumbers will charge around $100 to auger or around $200 to pull the toilet and auger from bottom.

The eggs probably did not completely make it through the toilet and into the main-line of the house. You should turn off your water, empty the water out of the toilet (flush it with H2O turned off), and remove the toilet from the floor. Look in the toilet through the bottom, if you can't see the eggs, feel for them (yes I said "feel" whoever said plumbing was not dirty!), remove the eggs. If the eggs have clogged up the main line in the house, you will soon find out--all of the sinks, toilets, drains etc. before the clog in the main line will backup and overflow with nasty water. If you successfully remove the eggs, you will need to go to the hardware store and buy a new wax seal/gasket for the toilet and just bolt it back into the floor and turn on the water. If your mainline is clogged, it is best to have a professional come in and snake the pipes. Good luck!!!

Thought I could help you, but this goes WAY beyond my DIY experience. If you can't get them out, it sounds like the toilet comes off. You don't want those eggs going any further down than they already are.

I'd keep my fingers crossed, but typing is hard that way.

Good Luck, you need it.

I think your best bet would be calling a plumber. Then warn the kids about putting things in the toilet.

This usually works for us, get full bucket of water and at the same time the button is pushed and held down, pour water into bowl quickly, bowl might fill up but usually then will "suck" down very fast! Hey Presto - unblocked loo!!!

Tough situation. Afraid you're going to have to call a plumber. Yikes.
