I reinstalled windows xp pro into my computer and noticed that my resolution was set smaller than 800 by 600. I think 400 somethng. I also noticed it gave me 3 choices to choose from in my settings instead of two. I was just wondering if i could set my resolution back to the original picture.

I was kinda of having that same problem, in my display properties all I had for a resolution was 16bit and a 2 color black and white, it baffed me for the longest time, but I figured it out, I went to Microsoft.com and found a video display driver to match my computer brand ( compaq) and down loaded it and installed it, and it fixed it, now I got a 32bit, a high16 bit and a 256 resolution, and now it is the way it should be so maybe thats what you need is another video display driver,

What was the original picture? Or was the original picture smaller than 800x600? Why would you want it smaller than that? Clarify please?
