Heart is supplied by 2 main coronary arteries (actually three) : Left and right coronary arteries.

Heart supplies blood to the whole body through Aorta (the largest artery) which when arises from the Left ventricle (largest chamber ) of the heart moves upward, and is called the Ascending Aorta. Actually Aorta has two parts : Ascending, THe Arch and Descending.
Coronary arteries arises from the Ascending part of Aorta, which directly enters the Myocardium (muscular architecture ) of heart and supplies it.

There are blood vessels (called coronary arteries) which branch off of the aorta as it exits the heart, and these are the vessels which supply the heart with blood. When someone has a heart attack, it is usually because the blood flow to the coronary arteries has been blocked by a blood clot, cutting off the supply of blood to some portion of the heart.

Hi,
This is a good question which is never actually fully explained or understood by students in schools all over the world.

Firstly, it is important to realise that blood is made up of many different components. It is actually a 'tissue'. The major component is plasma, which is made up of many other materials found in the body. The Heamoglobin, which gives the blood the red colour you will recognise and what makes 'blood' what it is (an oxygen carrying substance) is made in the bone marrow and then placed into the plasma.

Therefore, the answer to your question is that blood comes from all different parts of the body, whereever the different components come into the liquid pumping around; it all makes blood!

I hope this helps,

The blood supply to the heart itself is supplied by the left and right coronary arteries, which branch off from the aorta.

do u have them

It goes around in a big cycle, using the same blood over and over. So the answer would be the rest of the body.

the superior vena cava ad inferior vena cava both bring deoxygeneated blood to the rt atrium, but coronary arteries bring oxygenated blood to the actual heart MUSCLE itself for those cells to be oxygenated. They are branches off the aorta
