Actually, very few homosexuals are killed in the way the media suggests. For example Mathew Sheppard, remember that case. The media blamed it on gay bashing. After the case was finally solved it was a robbery. And the Billy Jack (forgot last name) case turned out to be his homosexual partner. Perhaps part of the problem is that people who live this lifestyle put themselves in danger more often than straight people do. That does not in any way justify their killing. But it is wrong for homosexual advocates to blame these deaths on people who oppose the promotion of homosexuality. I think that is part of the problem. Homosexual activist never seem to want to take responsibility for the consequences of their own actions. Instead they blame Christians and other groups. They try to force public schools to endorse their lifestyle and teach it to children. They lie to confused adolescents by saying that they were born gay. Another good example is the AIDS crisis. Rather than trying to encourage responsible behavior, they promote homosexuality as a healthy alternative lifestyle. How many died because of this misinformation. Each one of their deaths is just as tragic as any other. If you love someone who has chosen homosexuality you should show your love by encouraging them to change. "Love won out" is an organization that can help.

The soul has no sex. We are reborn into this world many times. Sometimes as men, sometimes as women. Therefore, everyone is bi-sexual to some extent. Most people don't understand this because of religious brainwashing. So they are very confused and afraid of such feelings. Their fears that they may have "sinful" thoughts drives them to strike out at well...the people who aren't afraid. It's really sad that religious dogma can cloud the minds of so many, and so badly. It is a tragedy that society fails to admit. But many of us are working to change that.
Blessed Be...all the children of our great Mother Earth!
And have peace in knowing that Karma is a Universal law that guarantees, what comes around, goes around. They will pay.

Could only be ignorance or just pure evil. Sometimes people just look for any target to unleash their misplaced aggression. Some people dislike anything other than what they think is 'normal'. Hopefully they will become more enlightened and exercise more tolerance to people who choose a different lifestyle than theirs.

Because uber-religious people like Ned Flanders decide to go on their own personal crusade, and decide to ignore the "Love thy neighbor as thyself" and "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" parts of the Bible, and only reading the part where God turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into salt, totally vaporizing them. The super-religious christians think that b/c they read the Bible and go to church, they're just as good as God, and can therefore stand in for Him as Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

I think Christianity is to blame. It states in the bible, that any man having sex with another man should be brutally murdered. What kind of example is that for tolerance?
