I want what my kids want. Doesn't matter to me one bit. It's gonna be THEIR job for LIFE not MINE!!!

Daughter always wanted to be a Kindergarten School Teacher but now has changed it.
Son wants to do something in the Science/Technology Field.
Son always wanted to be either Firefighter or Police Officer.

Frankly, it's the money. Not so much that they could not earn a lot of money in other fields, but that the parents are certain they could earn a lot in those fields. Really, though, I think you exaggerate when you say "always." Many parents are aware of the fact that the most important thing is job satisfaction, and not money directly. Of course, money IS satisfying in its way, and the parents have a certain self-interest in having kids with pots of the stuff when they are retired.

first these professions are respectable and we can serve the people if we work honestly and these professions want high qualification and when a person get higher education he becomes a good person too and in these fields there is also a lot of money therefore parents want their children to become a doctor or engineer.ok
