ok so my friend bought a game for the nintendo 64 and it had what looked like rust but i don't think it was. so we brushed it with a toothbrush and is still didn't work does anyone have any ideas??

I can't guarentee that this is safe, but I used to use a cotton swab with alcohol. I'd make sure to dry it well with the other side. If all else fails, I would put it in the freezer for a while. The cold temperature increases conductivity. Suprising, but it worked

Try a little white vinegar on a Q tip and brush the contacts with that. Just don't soak the contacts.

i dont know about a nintendo 64 game maybe take it to your local video game store and ask them how you can clean it

try liquid air. you can buy it in the electronics department at walmart
