Once incarcerated to an eternity of perdition, is there a chance for escape? If so where does one escape to?

Other than a song by Marilyn Manson, where does the saying, "A long, hard road out of hell come from"?

I suppose it's a two part question.

How do you know that the life we are living now isn't the long, hard road out of hell?

In to, out of, its all a long hard road. Its not the destination, nor the starting point that matters anyway; its the journey. The journey can be hell or it can be heaven, its about the choices you make and the people you meet along the way.

Read the book "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis. - There is an easy way out of hell, even for those who are already there - but few choose to take it. (and no, it's not the usual fundamentalist claptrap). Don't know about ol' Marilyn Manson's theory.

I don't believe in hell and nobody can prove it exists so I don't need to waste my time thinking about such jibberish. Others do though. They better get cracking with an escape plan!

Problem is it's easy to get in Hell...actually being born put's you in the line to hell. But God gave us the tools to get out. Namely Jesus, and the Bible. And that's it. And you can xit the line while you are alive, because if you die there will be no chance to xit.
By accepting Jesus as savior you begin to go backwards in the line...getting farer from hell step-by-step, and at the end , Heaven awaits you.

If there is a long and hard road there has to be a short and easy road too. Look for the short and easy road to hapiness.

I don't believe in Hell as in a place where you burn forever - however, that being said, I do believe that the wicked people will have to pay for their deeds somehow (at least I hope so).

I think the road you speak of is Dr Phil Ave... Just write to him and ask for directions?
