I have an Apple computer and I don't know how to use it. I need to put photos on my website, and it won't accept JPEG images because they are too big? I need to make them jpg and I can't figure it out. Is JPEG even a different thing than jpg?

First, JPG=JPEG
JPG image cant be too big, most of time,it cant reach 100K for a 1024x768 picture.
Tust Me JPG is the most small image formate recently.
I guess the site you're going to upload your pics, just cant accept pic over 800x600.

So resize your pictures,then upload.

Introduce a very useful , easy and free picture software to you.
Hope it can help you.

Picasa.

A free software download from Google.

Jpeg and JPG are the same. On a dos extension you will get the file name and then .jpg for jpeg files. Jpeg is what they are, jpg is the file extension.

JPG and jpeg are the comparable ingredient. the concern is your image may be too huge or too small for myspace. attempt to resize the image to make it smaller or larger and upload it returned.
