well im reading this book called "Angels and Demons". One of the qoutes from the book is "religion and science are telling the same story in two different languages." Therefore it made me think it might be true but of course there are some questions that needs answers and unfortunately some of those questions wouldn't have answers...

I think the two complete each other. There are some things science can't answer, and so the religious part comes in and gives us answers that the scientific method cannot confirm. Then if you only believe in religion, you eventually start questioning "absolute truths" and that's where science comes in, trying to answer those.

Don't agree. The world remains divided between seculars and the church (or mosque / temple). There are two factions, fighting to remain relevant and gain the acceptance of the masses.

The church likes to insist that science is actually religion - 'We have said it before' kind of stuff.

But some things don't agree. Darwin's theory is an example.

Sort of. Theoretically both are seeking the truth. If both are able to find the truth they should eventually come to agree with each other.

However, there are things which science can never answer, so they can never truly be in total agreement.
