Sometimes it hurts to accept that truth itself is too big for us to digest or handle. It stinks to acknowledge further that our brains are far too small to understand truth.
I wouldn't say that the real truth behind human origin and birth is still farfetched. At the same instance though I dare not make any claim that in my most bias opinion I have the answer, for that world be a sham. Admittedly so, there is no objective truth - everything is bitterly relative, with its scope unlimited even to the term we refer to as civilization where humans continuously generate.
Here's what I think though, there is a cycle of births and rebirths since it survived through the total and unquestioned faith and obedience. Even reason itself led would lead to the discovery that there was no objective difference between good and evil, truth and falsehood. We humans did not exist before language, and the only access to truth is through the medium of language.
Even if we all agree about simple, or very simple and obvious matters, such as the existence of space and time, these were only the truths for humans, and not truths pe se.
And as we pusue truth, we develop science, anthopology and histoy as tools. And these disciplines discover what? That all the truths of the past have been contingent, the mere products of our biological make up and local values. Above all, the discovery of truth was just a product of a certain group of people in the ancient times and their table of arbitrary values.
Since you are asking for the truth behind our existence as it was implied in your question per se, hear my subjective truth. The ultimate truth therefore [behind our origins and these so-called births] is that there is no truth as there is no difference between truth and falsehood anymore.
