I am especially looking for answers from college grads. Do you think a Bachelors degree, for the most part, is useless as far as getting a better job and/or salary? What about a Masters Degree? I know people with Masters who can't get a full-time job because there are so many more people out there now with PhD's or Doctorates to compete with. Is this a new development, or has it been this way all along? What have your experiences been?

It's in my personal experience, and the experiences I've heard from many others that a post-secondary degree of any kind is a valuable tool. For the first very basic reason, it shows any employer you followed through on a goal, it is an accomplishment. It does not replace workplace experience but it does get a foot in the door. Like anything else it is what you choose to do with it and sometimes being in the right place at the right time.
Unlike previous generations, we will have to constantly upgrade and adapt our educations to keep us employable. (Including trades people, business leaders, everyone.) Education isn't something that just begins and ends, you constantly have to learn in the work environment to adapt to change. Post-secondary education helps you "coach" you brain into doing that.
It won't just give you a job, but it can help. And there has always been high competition with the masters/phd-qualified jobs.

It does and it would not. once you first get your degree, a obtainable company will ask about your GPA in an interview using the undeniable fact that's between the few signals of what type of worker you in all probability will be. except you also are a member of MENSA and different brainiac agencies, that first company might want to no longer positioned a lot inventory into this "i'm smart, yet college become the type of drag" recurring (so that you would favor to really excell at some person-friendly classes to pump up that GPA!). once you've been out in the real international somewhat and bypass on to different positions, GPA's are virtually an element of the previous. Then the spotlight will be on your references, your smart solutions to interview questions, your artwork achievements (promotions, etc.), etc.

if u r living in this world for money then it is of some importance.

or else it is of no use.

any one can gather information or learn anything in this workd by themselves.

infact the more u search the more u become intelligent.

but present education is not at all useful.

that too in a country like INDIA, who follows the same old damn edu. system that is left here by the damn EI Co., it is utter waste.
