What does it mean when you get it, what nostril are you supposed to pierce and does it hurt?

It doesn't hurt that much, In india actually it was a culture later now and then it became a fashion accessory people are doing it to imititate sania mirza and other pesonalities ,
Even u can see that beauty of having perfect nose stud in the album/artist "no doubt"

Most people I know with nose piercings only get it for as a fashion statement. There is no right or wrong side. It will hurt, but just the same as if getting ears pierced.

I cant figure why anyone would want to pierce their nose. I think its ugly,and how could you blow your nose after. Especially with a septum pierce. Yaaaargh!

it just means that the person wanted to have a nice hollow needle shoved through their nose cartilage, plus the endorphin rush is incredible. any time you have body parts removed it will hurt for a while.

I'd think blowing your nose would be difficult. I have allergies I just wouldn't make it with that kind of piercing.
