because the candidates the Democrats put up aren't all that grand.

I voted for Bush because he was the lesser of two evils in the last election. If there had been a third person who could have stood a chance at winning I would have voted for them.
And that's the problem with our process of electing a President. The only people that really stand a chance are the Republicans and Democrats. Why? Because people don't vote for the person that they think will do the best job- they vote for the person in their political party. So even if a third party were running and wanted to actually do some good, that person would be ignored because there are too many people who are so loyal to their parties that they refuse to vote any other way.
I've only voted in one election and I don't plan on voting again. It's not like my vote really counts. I live in Kansas and Kansas always goes to the Republicans because Kansas is full of Christians. I realize that I am generalizing - but it's true! There are plenty of people that vote for Democrats, but there's not enough to over throw the Republican votes.
That's why we need a really strong third party to arise. Americans need more choices for our votes to actually count!
---
Oh yeah, and it's not like you can trust anything a politican says when they are trying to get elected - the ones who want the most power will do and say anything to get it.

Your question should read "why did the majority vote for Bush?" Your not going to get a chance to vote for him again. Not as president any way. Ask your questions right and maybe I'll give you an answer.

Because the Democrats ran such pathetic campaigns in 2000 and 2004 and Karl Rove pretty much schooled them on negativity and distorting their own message to the American people.
The GOP would have lost both presidential elections had the Dems ran a strong campaign that focused on a platform that would bring them support across the board. Instead, they tried to appease radical interest groups who are far too left of the moderate mainstream of America, and that cost them.

I voted for the other person, I'm a democrat been voting that way since I was 18 and I'm 29 now, and I will continue to vote for democrat. When a republican is in office, the economy goes to haitis and when a democrat is in office, the ecomony booms. But, that's just my opinion.

They haven't figured out they are only a few paychecks from being as poor as the poorist!! They are the real fools to buy into that crap because yhe only people in this country that have it made are those who will never have to worry about money, and that isn't a whole heck of a lot!!

With all the foolishness we have to put up with, no! And this is his second and last term in office. He can't run again, but it's possible that his younger brother Jeb might take a stab at it. We'll see what happens next, so you all better stay tuned or be out in the cold!

Becuz the fiscal policey he campaigned on: Lower taxes, SS reform, tort reform, IRS overhaul, etc.......
Sorry Libbs but a report relaeased this week showed that Tax revenue has increased since tax cuts were implemented. For those kiddies who think that's impossible, think of it as a sale at Wal-Mart. While they're chraging less, people are buying more, therefore, they're generating more revenue.
Again, I hope I made adifference in someone's life today! :)

Because he is a strong, good person. The left has tried to ruin him and they are doing a very good job, even if it means putting our country in jeopardy.
