Haha. Master Chief may not be a god, but he is certainly a supernatural, alien-killing, super hero who people of all ages could look up to and learn from.

Just to tweek the minds of others simply think of this
There are far worse short sighted things to worship. Some claim divinity of trees, others claim divinity of demons, most seem to freely enslave themselves to an invisible echo, while the rare believe in other creatures divine state.
Personally free will is a clausable thing, hence it would all be decided in one single decision. How would it feel to you, with all other opinions casted aside. If it feels right so be it, if not then it probally means its not the path to enlightenment.
