Second hand smoke that causes cancer has only been proven in firemen and coal miners never for cigarettes, it is just an assumption.

Naturally all animals can handle some smoke, most people lived on grasslands which is often burned.

Yes it'll be there for a little after they smoke till it can fully ventilate. but as for it giving you cancer, you would have to do it ALOT. I think the only thing to be concered about is if you have a cold, asthma or or breathing or flimy type thing, you could probably irritate it.
Working out may clear it up, but if your concerned see a doc. I doubt it's cancer, b/c youd have to be exposed to alot, but if there is another problem your unaware of the smoke may be irritating it. A doc is the only one that can rule everything out for you. good luck

not after one encounter but continuous exposure can lead to cancer. It takes a while for the toxic gases to build up in your lungs and create the cancerous goo, but eventually if will get you. but for good news if you are exposed, you can work out alot which will help to clear up the dangerous toxins a bit

That is called 2nd hand smoke, and yes it does!! It causes more deaths than smoking it yourself. It kills infants every day as well.2nd hand smoke is deadly. I will give you an example. An elderly couple, the husband smoked since world war 2, the wife never touched a cig in her life, she died of lung cancer, he later died of copd. I hope this helped you.
