Depends on whose yard. Yuk yuk. Just kidding - it's 9 sq ft = 1 sq yd. (3ft down one axis, times 3ft down the other axis) So 220 sq yds times 9 sq ft/sq yd = 1,980 sq ft? I just did that in my head, so you may want to check that with a calculator. 9 x 220. By the way, you are talking about square yards, right?

I think that your question needs a little bit of clarification. You are trying to compare two different kinds of measurements.
