If you are a hard working person in the warehouse and can move the packages to load trucks for a few years, it is possible.

No felony convictions, or drug use in past. Must have clean driving record and a CDL (Commercial Drivers Licensce) helps.

No past DWI.

At least at UPS.

Good Luck!

Well it isn't that hard to get a job at fed x if you have a clean driving record and background they also drug test and possibly do a credit report.I know they pay really well though and the benifits are excellent.Go to there web site or find out where the nearest location is and apply there.

Takes a long time slinging boxes in the warehouse to be a driver. Have family that worked in warehouse for 10 years before he became a driver. Not sure if that is typical or not.

I dunno about FedEx, but as far as UPS goes, you got to do the conveyer belt and do inside jobs for years before you can drive. I forget the exact time, but no one goes straight to driving.

As for UPS, you start out only $8/hr. (might change by now), but it's only part-time
