I have a friend who lives in a US state where the legislature has passed a law providing for the death penalty in statutory rape cases. He is afraid that someone will hire an underage girl to "service" him while he sleeps, then yell "rape" after the fact. He also wonders if that happens, if he's headed for the gas chamber anyway, whether it would be better just to kill the girl and hide the evidence. What are the best options under my friend's hypothetical situation?

Not only are there no capital punishments for statutory rape/sexual battery of a minor, but in this "hypothetical" situation, your friend's best bet would be to LOCK THE DOOR. Anyway, by use of the gas chamber comment, that tells me it's one of 3 states you (or your "friend") live in, and I can tell you they don't kill you. Well, the State doesn't. The other inmates might, though.

If a person is facing the death penalty, it is far better to kill all the witnesses and do your best to dispose of any incriminating evidence.

I know of no state that provides the death penalty for statutory rape. Perhaps you could tell us which state.

Statutory Rape is not a Capital Offense. Someone who commits it may go to prison, but would nmot be executed for it in any state of the United States.

I have a better answer for your ""hypothetical" question. Do neither. If you you think you are about to be caught strap yourself with explosives, walk into your state legislature, and blow yourself up killing all the dumbasses who made such a retarded law. Strictly hypothetically speaking of course.

I hate moralists. Old enough to bleed old enough to breed. That was the way: God/Nature/Allah/Buddha/Random protons and neutrons crashing into each other intended it. Depending on your belief system. Otherwise we would reach puberty it an older age.

the concern with it rather is there's a continuum of severity of acts that are seen rape from forced intercourse, to very inebriated intercourse, to statutory rape, to coercive intercourse, to blackmail, to brute actual rigidity, or possibility of death. some rapes contain severe violence like the lady in India who advance into gang-raped on the bus and had her intestines pulled out of her physique. each from time to time the rapists homicide their victims. It does not make experience or be even remotely honest to handle all of those crimes identically.

How the heck would that happen? Sounds to me like he is already making excuses for something he has already done or wants to do. He needs to stay away from little girls, and lock his doors at night.

If your friend is that worried about being "raped" in his sleep, I would think his best solution is to remove his genitalia. That, or sleep in a jail cell in advance, so he's ready to face any charges.
