Can some one post a easy base guitar song for me?

Smoke on the Water is where just about everyone starts for guitar and bass. The Ramones are a great choice too. Most early punk songs have fairly simple bass lines and provide a good launching point into other forms of music! Best of luck!

Just do a search, that should find you a bunch of stuff. Try typing in guitar tablature, and that will lead you to several links. Ultimateguitar.com has a bunch of great stuff, and I think they also have links to other sites.. If all else fails, find a local music store and pick up some beginner music books. If you don't want the instruction books, there are also books that have songs in them that are broken down as well for ease of learning.

Lessons always help. Just make sure to screen any potential teacher for qualifications. Just because someone can play guitar doesn't mean they'll be any good at teaching guitar to a new student.

U2- With or without you. I seriously picked the thing up for the first time and played that song. Realllllllly friggin' easy. 4 notes, and one of them is open (not fretted). Just google "bass tab" and find it.

you play bass!? wow dude seriously i wanna start im gonna get one for this years bday. but ne hoo can you tell me since your a beginner at it is it hard or is it easy to catch on to? i wanna know before i buy it what im getting myself into. cuz some say it's so hard and some say its easy! but your a beginner so what do you think.
