What do you do to get rid of a cold sore FAST?

I dont think its a cold sore actually.I had a bump on my lip i popped it now its huge. I hate that because people will then think its herpes or something like that....can someone help?

ice ice ice. it will help the swelling. also use carmex or another medicated chap stick. try something made for cold sores. dont touch it it will make it worse.
also if you need a quick fix to get rid of redness, use some drops of visine. it works

inside your mouth? I salt it and try to pierce it with a sterilized needle, then repeat. Wow, that hurts, but it seems to help it disappear faster.

it might be a pimple....put a hot towel over it twice a day and over a week if its not gone go see a Doc.
