Lmao! The first time I ever saw this, I had found a wire hanger in my closet. I hate them. It's honestly almost Joan Crawfordish. My husband and his best friend were sitting on the couch, and this movie was just coming on. I came storming out of the bedroom, waving this wire hanger at him (husband) "What's a wire hanger doing in our closet? I told you, I hate wire hangers!!!!" His best friend started laughing like crazy. He thought I was kidding. Then my husband had to tell him (several times!) that I'd never seen the movie. I had no idea why it was funny. Then I sat down and watched it. I was actually kind of embarrassed during the wire hanger scene though. But I love the movie now. Nice to know someone else had a "thing" about wire hangers.

I LOVE that movie. My favorite scene (other than the "no wire hangers EVER) is the scene where the teenage Christina is home from school and Joan is giving the interview. Joan and Christina start arguing and Joan says, "why can't you show me the respect that I would get from any stranger in the street." Christina responds with, "because I am not one of your fans." Joan gets this psychotic look on her face, jumps Christina, and starts choking her. The maid and the reporter have to pull her off.
Love that movie and Faye Dunaway kicked so much ***. She even looked just like Joan Crawford!

i remember this movie when i was little..i told my mom i loved her.i let my kids watch it with me last year & they said "im glad your not like that!"
