btw jennifer b. its not my mom saying i can't go, shes cool with it. its a friends mom. there really is nothing wrong with some girls going to disney for the day. and the inexperienced driver is 18 so shes had a couple years of driving. you actually sound more like a teenager than i do cause you feel the need to downtalk to me by saying "Teenagers brains are not fully formed, therefore they cannot make intelligent decisions for themselves"

p.s. don't answer questions if your not actually going to help.

also, i'm not young and stupid. and the driver paid for her own car and the insurance and gas so before you go off saying how stupid and immature people are you should try and get your facts straight.

crzynet70: the driver is 18. we are pretty close to disney about an hour away. we all have cell phones and i think it would be pretty safe.

I think it's cool that u want to go to Disney... don't pay attention to Jennifer B.. the B stands for *****!! I've read all her answers and she can't answer a question intelligently without insulting the asker. Anyway... I don't think there is anything wrong with you guys going... the mom is probably worried something might happen to you guys on the way. What you should all do is go over to ur friends house and sit down with her mother over a cup of coffee and explain exactly what ur planning to do, and all the reasons why she shouldn't worry, tell her the thing about the cells phones, that you will be responsible, you won't drink (even if later on you will hee hee) you won't pick up hitchhikers, that the daughter will call the mom every 2 hours to check in etc etc etc... try to put her mom at ease so she won't worry. Good luck!! tell me how it went ok??

You can't

Yeah for your mother for having the balls to say no

Teenagers brains are not fully formed, therefore they cannot make intelligent decisions for themselves which is why most children live with their parents until they are 18.

Because you are young and stupid you don't think there's anything wrong with a bunch of girls taking off for a day at disney.....when you are old enough to buy your own car, and pay for your own car insurance, and you know that the car isn't going to be full of screaming squealing girls with an inexperienced driver at the wheel you go ahead and go to Disney!

All you can do is talk to her mom and let her know that you will be responsible. Tell her that you will all be reachable by cell phone so that her mom can call to make sure everything is going ok. If her mom feels safe about being able to get in touch with her then you have a better chance of her letting her go.

My first question to you is, "how old are you and your friends?" I know that would depend on my answer as a mom. Then it would be "what is her driving record" "how far are you away from disneyland", etc, etc. etc. We live in crazy times and I am sure that her mom just loves her and wants the best for her.

well, if her mom's that obsessive about it, then ask if the mom would drive. if the adult cant come up with a better way of gettin there, like a compromise or something, then it's an unreasonable argument.

Tell her you will be very responsible and if that doesnt work then ask if she'll drive u down there. And if u keep pressing her about it she might say yes.
