hell your hubby and mine should get together, they are like 2 peas in a pod, and then we could go out and have fun, maybe meet men who do not have issues...lol

Silent treatment never works and usually makes things worse. The fact that he has alcohol in his system doesn't help things because he probably doesn't even realize that you are pissed.
The best way to resolve things is to let him sober up and then talk to him about what he said and how you feel. Let him know when he has a few beers he says hurtful things to you and you don't appreciate it.

A better idea would be to help him not to drink. There are those that do not let the alcohol take over and there are those that the alcohol takes over immediately. I have found that not drinking is the best, at least you know who you are talking too and the sincerity of the exchange of dialog.

Start chating with other men that will teach him.... LOL
Can we all just try and get along.
Maybe you should have gotten him the beer he asked you to get.

No you have the right idea and like most men I probably have said things I did not mean.

Most men tend to do the same thing. Your man isn't any different. He's going to apologize once he's slobber, but he's not going to stop drinking beer and talking crazy so you need to get ready.

Alcohol tends to take away our inhibitions so we say things that pop into our heads. Somewhere in him these comments are alive and well and only come out in your presence when he's drinking.

He will apologize and blame the alcohol and "baby I didn't mean it ....it was just the beer talking"

Does he know the things he said? and which of them bothered you. Talk to him directly....You know....when you said.............................it really upset me, and I think you owe me an apology.

Good Luck

Great idea. Don't let him get you down. :)

P.S. message to Billey32: Redneck is a term that was given to cowboys who worked in the sun all day. Because when they came in from work, their necks would be sunburnt. Hence: RED NECK :)
