Question 1.....He appeared on "Gunsmoke". The episode was called "The Guitar"

Question 2.....This is a really difficult question to answer, because there are so many, and my favorites sometimes depend on my mood. When I think of all my favorites, though, I seem to always go back to "7th Heaven". It was believable, had likable characters, dealt with real life issues, and was suitable for any aged audience. It also kept believable story lines as the actors portraying the characters got older, and didn't replace actors, just because they got older.

Question 3.....I think his legacy will be simply, that for forty years, he was able to keep up with the times in his creations. Also, he was able to create situations that I will never be in, and do it in such a way, that I felt like I was there.
Ex: "Dynasty"..."Fantasy Island"..."Hart To Hart"..."The Boy In The Plastic Bubble"...

I am sorry to hear he passed. He was a great producer/director.

First of all he appeared in two Westerns. The first was "Three Young Texans. It was released in 1954. Spelling played Catur. I never saw this movie, but it is about a train robbery.

The second movie was the "Wyoming Renegades" also release in 1954. Spelling has not character name and goes uncredited in this movie except on IMDB.com which rates and provides info on all movies.

My favorite creation of his was either Dynasty or Charlie's Angels.

I think producing some of the most watched shows on TV and doing it right.

Well, he was once on Gunsmoke. I absolutely loved 10-8 too. Was really sad when it got cancelled.

His legacy--hard to say. He did so much with his time...I think his legacy will be different for all of his fans.

1.wyoming renegades
2. tori spelling (i became a fan once i saw noTORIous)
3. escapist, over-the-top tv that can be as much a reflection of pop culture as an influence on it. Sex & the City would not be possible without Dynasty....Think of how many shows now owe their success (and format) to Melrose Place.

RIP, Aaron Spelling!

i know. how bout tell Yahoo News and CNN and all other news sources to put the story of his death before the other guy who died. the other guy who died was the person arguing and sueing Anna Nicole Smith. He died and all the news people had it on the top headlines while Aaron Spelling wasnt.
