what i should do, i am typing now with the on screen keyboard

um first try to clean it out, next if that doesn't work, buy a new keyboard!! lol Also not sure if you knew this or not, but you can pop off that letter from you keyboard and make sure nothing is blocking it or make sure something isn't holding it down. just some fyi

I have bought used keyboards and always clean them when I get home. Some are really dirty and have sticky keys.
Big job at times but I have cleaned several keyboards in the past by taking the screws out in the back and lifting off and cleaning with a toothbrush and water. Blot dry with a towel and then let it air dry before you but it back together.
Be careful if some of the rubber parts if they stick stick to the top and fall down as they are not all the same and have a certain place to go back. Don't wash any down the sink. lol

Use a paperclip to get under the Y key and lift it up. You can pop it right off, and maybe clean whatever is under it that is making is sticky.
