I'm doing Junior Guards this summer and I was wondering if there are any sharks out at Ponto and what are the chances I'll be in danger out in the water? and a question for females....I think I'm gonna get my period soon and the calendar said my period's coming when I start Junior Guards, so I'm wondering...a) Skip a week of Junior Guards or b) Use a tampon

If you start your period while out in the ocean do make sure there are people shark spotting. There shouldn't be too much of a problem if you are using a tampon but you should make sure you are not in the water early morning or at dusk. These are regular shark hunting times. If you can get a wetsuit, that would be the best idea. It's not all that saucy but it's better to be safe then sorry. I do hope you have a great time!

I can't answer your shark question but use a tampon. Don't let your period hold you back from what you want to do.
