I have some vintage dresses I want to list on eBay. Mostly I have dresses which appear to be from the 60s and 70s..
What are the different fabrics used in those eras?
Where can find this information?

cotton, polyester, rayon, terry cloth, silk, linen.... If you look on the tag it might say what it is ...

It seems like most vintage is polyester. Usually the tag is missing or too worn to read. If it is a thick material it is probably polyester and vintage. Now they make it thinner. Personal experience buying on ebay. I hate that fabric and now quit buying vintage. A few are cotton too.
