What do you mean why do questions lead to more unanswered questions?

If a question does not provide enough information for a complete answer, more questions are needed in order to find enough information to appropriately answer the original question accurately. Also, a question may actually have more than one solution or answer and therefore it opens up new avenues of thought and focus that go in a myriad of directions - producing even more questions.
