I DEFINITELY agree...Im also attached to it for personal reasons as well....that's how I met my fiance 6 years ago....I in Chicago...he in Scotland, UK. If it wasnt for Yahoo, we probably would have never met.

I haven't tried hotmail so I guess if ur a windows user yahoo's better. One thing I know is Yahoo Messenger 4 Macs sucks.

I like Yahoo's messenger the best out of all of them. I've been using it for years, and don't seem to have a lot of the problems other people talk about.

Naw, MSN is better in my opinion. It's better at tracking contacts and lets people sign in with more than just a hotmail address. The layout looks more professional imo.

I find them both annoying and yes, I do have them both, as friends say they like to get in touch now and then. As I haven't used them much, I probably go with Yahoo. Seems to work fine.

i don't quite agree. yahoo messenger hangs up quite a lot but msn does it only on a few and rare occasions.

yup.. completely agree. MSN has an irritating interface too. And you cannot appear online and chat too. Yahoo rocks. Its simple and somehow neater to look at...

i agree w/ you 100%. i like yahoo msgr better than AIM though i wish it was easier to add buddies like it is on AIM
google talk is also one of my favs, pretty simple and straightforward
