ignore all the haterz i'm here to educate people. mp3 is a audio data format for any type of audio. either music or just noise. mp4 is a video format for movies. the ipod video and the psp use mp4 format. it's usually required to be converted to mp4 to go onto these players via a small free program called psp video 9.
