A cube has 6 square faces so divide the surface area by six = 81 sq. cm

The area of a suare is s^2 so so you have to get the suqre root of 81 sq. cm = 9 cm

Volume of a cube is s^3 so raise 9 to the third power 9^3 = 729 cu. cm ---->volume of the cube

Total area = 486 cm2.
Area of one square face = 486/6 cm2 = 81 cm2
Length of each edge = V(81 cm2) = 9 cm
Volume of the cube = (9 cm)^3 = 27 cm3
Good luck with the clep(?) test.

A cube has six faces so the area of any face=486/6=81sq cm
So one side=square root of 81 =9cm
Hence volume =cube of the side=9*9*9=729cu cm

T = 6a^2
486 = 6a^2
a^2 = 81
a = 9

V = a^3
V = 9^3
V = 729

ANS : 729cm^3 or 729mL
