Beethoven's 9th Symphony, 4th movement - Ode to Joy. This was played when the Berlin wall came down and east and west reunited.

Good music is not merely a matter of taste, in a sense. Your pallette can mature over time and will appreciate the finer and more sublime tastes. If you think rap is great today, the day may come when you can't listen to such pablum because you have matured in your capacity for aesthetic appreciation.
