Actually it is benificial. The vagina is actually more sensitive during that time of the month. It can be mindblowing to have sex then! If you are worried bout the mess then take a bath before intercourse use your fingers and the water to get rid of the blood. Then use a water based lubricant like KY warming to replenish the lost natural lubricant. Then have fun. Also keep a wet washcloth by the bed to clean up any after-sex mess. Clean your man up, He will apreciate the care you show him!

This is completely a matter of personal choice. If your period is light, you still should make certain that your boyfriend is okay with it and that the mattress is protected by a towel. If your period is heavy, well you can still do it, but it will be very messy. Again, it's up to you. It won't hurt you.

It's purely a personal choice. Your partner will still be interested because your body secretes even more of its natural sex attractant (pheromones) when you are on your cycle. I would recommend using a towel that you won't mind throwing away afterwards or having sex in the bathtub for easy cleanup.

Yes, if neither of you are grossed out by it than go for it. It can also help with cramps too. orgasms can be a lot more intense during that time as well. You still need protection tho.
