GHANA is the best choice for the upset, good match against BRAZIL. GHANA to win
AUSTRALIA to beat ITALY, no way!!!
ECUADOR v ENGLAND, no issues here, ENGLAND to win!!
SWITZERLAND v UKRAINE, hmmm....tough one but hopefully UKRAINE will win.
ARGENTINA v MEXICO, kick out the Mexicans!! GO GO ARGENTINA.
GERMANY v SWEDEN, home support is crucial so a home victory here.
SPAIN v FRANCE, it looks like a derby match here, must be a close match, SPAIN to sneak in!! time for them to deliver.
PORTUGAL v NETHERLANDS, both teams are great. NETHERLANDS to exact their revenge at Euro 2004 semi-final when lost 1-2.

if history is on the side of the SOCCEROOS, the boys from OZ might pull THE upset of the 2nd round
( after all, gus hiddink was coach of korea in 2002 when they beat the AZZURIS of italy)
but you gotta like (and root for) ghana, ukraine , switzerland and australia just for making it this far after they were written off even b4 their respective opening matches :D

Germany (win)- Sweden
Ecuador - England (win)
Argentina (win) - Mexico
Netherlands (win) - Portugal
Brasil (win) - Ghana
Australia - Italy (win)
Spain (win) - France
Ukraine (win) - Switzerland
I think Ukraine has more chance than any other team to get to the best 8. But I still think that the other countries would do their best to qualify, maybe they do...
