Dell all the way. Have had Dell computers for years now. Like them and wouldn't change for anything. I know a good portion of my friends and relatives go with this brand of computers as well.

I switched to Apple a few years ago because I was tired of Windows tearing up my equipment. Windows is not a user friendly operating enviroment. Plug and Play only works on a new keyboard or monitor. I was tired of being treated like an un-welcomed guest on a computer system I bought and paid for. Mac's operating system OSX is so user friendly. Every option is very intuitive. Goodbye to layer upon layer of constant problems.

Dell, since those usually come with a Windows operating system, and in Windows you can switch programs more easily, versus Apple PCs, which have Macintosh.

I asked that very question to our computer IT specialist at work. She says she owns a PC (happens to be a Dell) and she loves it but that the Apple Mac is great if you have artistic things to do like compiling pictures, music, etc. Basically she said, for Artistic ventures: Mac, for business: PC. I own a Sony Vaio and I couldn't be happier, I love it!

i had a dell computer a few days ago and it ended up with over a thousand errors on it. mostly from junk mail that i could not stop from coming into my inbox. personally i woyuld go with the aoole computer they are a lot better quality and you can get real answers to your questions about the computer from real people who really know what they are talking about and not just to hear their brains rattle. now you might pay a little more for one but it is worth it.

Ford or Chevy, Its the same question. Look to the software you want to use . If I wanted to do video editing I would get an Apple.
