I checked the email account manager in my site-console, and these accounts are not there. The spoofing appears in the email-address property of the sender (Outlook 2003)

SMTP wasnt designed with security in mind . when it was designed the issue was that the mail always get through. It is east to create a program that spoofs the sender.

Here you go...

go to a windows command promt

and type

telnet 25

I bet you get a prompt telling you the server name and that it is running.
