Ten minutes ago, Bill O'Reilly was reading through his email as usual when he came across an email that caught my attention. The email was from a British expatriot who agreed with O'Reilly after he said the BBC was both bias and blindly anti-american. The expatriot agreed with his comments once he switched from watching the BBC to watching Fox News. There are probably some people that do not agree with the BBC or the way it reports. But why criticize another news network as a news anchor who claims to be in a no spin zone? Is the BBC really anti-American? It usually reports about the U.S. both internationally and domestically, yet it doesn't criticize American news networks. So where did O'Reilly get his claim from?

They also must appear anti-Israeli, too. They recently had a story concerning Israeli attacks on those they deem to be terrorists. The Brits pointed out that the Israeli missiles are constantly missing their targets and killing innocent women and children. The American news media is not allowed to tell such a story. We can only hear about the Palestinian suicide bomber. the American government wants the American public to be ill-informed and have the lopsided reports accepted as the whole story.

In this way, maybe the BBC can be considered anti-American because they are more likely to present a fuller picture

I watch BBC news. They report fairly and accurately, without the jingoistic American spin that we see. O'Reilly has a hard time with "fair and balanced" reporting.

Don't know where Bill O'Reilly got his claim from -- the BBC seems balanced to me. You can listen to the BBC news on-line and decide for yourself.

Bill O'Reilly is a buffoon first of all.

As to anything being anti-American, it's becoming easier to count those in the world that are PRO-American these days.

I don't think so. The BBC actually gives you a very well-rounded news wrap from all over the world, unlike our news networks that sometimes focus on the most unecessary headlines and the most unappropiate times.

I like Fox News myself, but I've watched the BBC News before and they were far less anti-American than our own liberal media.

I don't know about Anti-, but it's refreshing to get an outside point of view sometimes to stimulate contemplation.
